A Child Blood Pressure Cuff for digital monitors is specifically engineered to provide accurate clinical readings for pediatric patients. Using an improperly sized adult cuff on a child—or vice versa—will result in “cuff hypertension” (falsely high readings) or falsely low readings, as the pressure is not distributed correctly over the smaller brachial artery.
