Routine Maintenance Checklist

• Bacterial / Hydrophobic Filter Replacement: Replace the inline filter immediately if it gets wet, discolored, or after every 30 days of continuous use. A wet filter blocks airflow completely to protect the motor.
• Overflow Protection Check: Test the float valve mechanism in the jar lid before each setup to ensure it moves freely and seals tightly against fluid ingress.
• Jar & Tubing Inspection: Check the 1000 mL collection canister, lid gasket, and silicone suction tubing for cracks, air leaks, or hardening. Damaged seals lead to a loss of vacuum pressure.

Cleaning & Sterilization Protocol

• Collection Jar & Silicone Tubing: Wash thoroughly with warm soapy water after every use.
