The Believia AN-02 is an ergonomic, clinical-grade palm-type aneroid sphygmomanometer designed for easy, single-handed manual blood pressure measurement.
Core Specifications
- Measurement Range: 0 to 300 mmHg
- Accuracy: Standard clinical tolerance within ±3 mmHg
- Design Type: Integrated single-tube palm style (gauge directly mounted to the inflation bulb for one-handed operation)
- Gauge Face: Large, clear 65 mm dial with bold graduation marks for effortless reading during rapid clinical rounds
- Valve System: Push-button or precision trigger air-release valve allowing effortless single-finger micro-deflation control
- Cuff & Bladder: Washable nylon cuff with clear artery position markers, fitting standard adult arms (25–35 cm)
Product Highlights
- One-Handed Ergonomics: Combines the manometer dial, inflation bulb, and deflation release into a single handpiece, freeing up the clinician’s other hand to hold the chestpiece securely.
- Ambidextrous Operation: Designed for easy left- or right-handed use without compromising control over the air valve.
- Shock-Resistant Housing: Protective casing around the dial buffers internal gears against mechanical shocks and accidental drops.
- Complete Kit: Ships with a washable nylon cuff, rubber inflation bulb mechanism, instruction sheet, and a zip storage case.
Calibration Protocol
Aneroid blood pressure monitors should undergo formal calibration testing every 6 to 12 months, or immediately after being dropped.
- Connect to Reference: Link the aneroid gauge in parallel with a certified reference manometer (such as a master gauge or mercury standard) using a Y-connector (T-tube).
- Pressurize: Inflate the system slowly to 300 mmHg.
- Check Steps: Deflate the system in steps of 50 mmHg, comparing the aneroid reading against the reference standard at each mark (250, 200, 150, 100, 50 mmHg).
